"Second Childhood series #1" ("Mother and Child") (17x22x2) is an abstract modern sculpture in painted 1/8" thick aluminum by Los Angeles metal sculptor Bruce Gray. This playful sculpture is based upon Gray's repeated used of intersecting shapes that he has been utilizing since he was a child. (See examples of the progression here.) The Second Childhood series is available in any size, color, and in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, rusty steel, and bronze. It is also available as a tabletop sculpture as shown to the right.
