|This is a sculpture I was commissioned to make for the Los Angeles Angels baseball team and COORS Light. It is made from recycled cans, and is part of their promotion for recycling and a more sustainable society. The sculpture is on display at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Click here for photos.|
|This is a robot family I was commissioned to build for The Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California. They are powder coated bright colors over stainless steel. They are 6 ft, 5 ft, 4 ft and 3 ft tall. A teacher from Portugal just sent me this photo of his 14 year old students who made a large artwork inspired by my painted wall sculpture series. This was displayed at the cultural center of their small village, Cucujaes. I love getting these!

The Page Museum at The La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles offers a course that teaches kids of all ages about found object art. They suggest sculptor Bruce Gray as one of five artists to study and critique in discussing the subject along with iconic artists Louise Nevelson and Marcel Duchamp.

|This is the sculpture I created out of bicycle parts as my donation for the SRAM pART Project fundraiser in New York City on November 29th. The funds raised will buy bicycles for people with no transportation in Africa. This is my second time being involved in this great charity. |The "Distorted Saxophone" sculpture (30x18x6) is the second sculpture in sculptor Bruce Gray's series of distorted musical instruments. This version is a saxophone with multiple extra parts added on, including various size spheres, a spiral, and several antique cash register keys. I would like to invite you to watch my short 4 minute stop motion film titled "My World: 1.1" about my sculptures and studio. This is my first attempt at making a film, and it won a Telly Award. In this film, other than the plasma flames in the opening, the entire thing is done in individual photographs pieced together. I hope you like it!
|Flight Over Vesuvius is a kinetic sculpture with a small metal paper plane that flies over a mountain circled by clouds. The plane and clouds balance on the top point of the mountain base. This sculpture is hand made in stainless steel. |"Symbiosis" (27x48) by renowned Los Angeles artist and sculptor Bruce Gray is done with enamels on wood. Several painting techniques were used to achieve this unique appearance which has the slight feeling of an ariel view or topographic map. This painting is part of Gray's new series of gravity enhanced paintings. There is so much to see in this painting that you can stare at it for hours finding areas that suggest imagry ranging from Beethoven to dragons.
